Logan Square All Stars: Derek Alexander of Longman & Eagle

Derek Alexander of Longman & Eagle via Honey Kennedy.
Longman & Eagle has a Michelin star. If we serve one of their cocktails, does that mean we get a Michelin-star-by-association?? We think that sounds about right, so let’s just go with it: Did you hear Scofflaw has a Michelin star?*

Right Up My Alley (Derek Alexander, Longman & Eagle) Rittenhouse Bonded Rye Whiskey, Carpano Antica, Bonal, Cynar, Peychaud's bitters; $10
This drink is seriously delicious and if you want to see a bunch of money go towards helping a seriously deserving cause, then you should order no less than one (but probably no more than four) Right Up My Alleys on Monday night. If Derek’s cocktail is the night’s top seller, we’re handing over 25% of the bar to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
The mission of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. CCFA sponsors basic and clinical research of the highest quality. We also offer a wide range of educational programs for patients and health care professionals, while providing supportive services to help people cope with these chronic intestinal diseases. These programs are supported solely through our donors, grants, and fundraising efforts.
So please be sure to join us for Fan Fiction: Logan Square All Stars (TONIGHT!) Monday, September 17, from 5pm-2am. It's like visiting all of your favorite neighborhood bars at once, only as your tab climbs—so falls your karmic debt.

*Scofflaw does not have a Michelin star.**
**Yet.
